A new constitution?

Via PoliTits, I read this post at Phydeaux Speaks (a new blog to me) calling for a new "Constitutional Convention in the 21st Century"http://phydeauxpseaks.blogspot.com/2007/08/constitutional-convention-in-21st.html
It's long, but a very thoughtful post and well worth reading.
