There's a better word for what I am: an apatheist.
It's a neologism that fuses "apathy" and "theism." It means someone who has absolutely no interest in the question of a god's (or gods') existence, and is just as uninterested in telling anyone else what to believe.
dcup, mine, too. But I call them anyway. I've got the corrupt Rick Renzi, the senile John McCain, and the ultra-pro-war neocon Jon Kyl as my congressional reps. Still, I figure they need to hear from us, even though they aren't going to listen. demeur, I'm just too damn stubborn to give up.
Regrettably our "elected" leaders pay little attention to us peons. That is of course unless we're making a donation in the six figures.
