Blatant Corruption



The big political debate in the next few weeks will be on the Keystone XL pipeline, a really bad idea that John Boehner will be pushing hard for one simple reason: because the House Speaker has substantial investments in several Canadian tar sands firms that would greatly benefit from the deal. That's it. He'll say it's about "jobs" (although it would only generate very few), but it's really only about money. Pure, blatant corruption.

And he's likely to get away with it.
